I found a new screenwriting blog that is quite entertaining: Alex Epstein’s “Complications Ensue.” He is a screenwriter (natch) and the author of Crafty Screenwriting and Crafty TV Writing. Today he wrote about Script Frenzy (yay!) and how the key to winning is to make as detailed an outline as possible and not reread or edit anything AT ALL until you finish.

I completely agree with this advice. It’s how I won Script Frenzy last year.
The thing is, if you do it this way, you out-write doubt. It doesn’t have a chance to catch up to your blazin’ fingers.

That’s a tip kids. Write it down!
